And I’m actually really pleased by the choice.

Marc Forster’s going to direct the film, according to VARIETY, and considering what Forster’s strengths are as a filmmaker, I think he might be the perfect fit for the script that I think does a tremendous job of adapting the book by Max Brooks. This just became one of the most interesting films in development, especially with Plan B involved. I think they’ve demonstrated some consistently interesting taste so far, and this has a chance of being something that exists above and beyond anyone’s preconception of the genre. Verrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting.
